Ready did all that and dropping it too.
I got it in disk mode once but when I connected it to the computer it went back to the sad facce.
I still need to call about the warranty.

why would you want it to do nothing? wouldn't you want it to do something?
I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Phrases like "won't do nothing" just really rub me the wrong way.
sounds like the next thing for you to do is call Apple. product should still be under warranty, though if it's been more than 6 months you are responsible for $30 in shipping.
