My smart younger brother disconnected my iPod while it was connected to my PC, and now the iPod reads "0" songs in settings>about. Nothing shows up when I go to music>songs/playlists/artists/whatever. However, the songs are still physically within the iPod because the number of gigs in use is still the same.
When connected to the PC, it can be recognized as a drive, but iTunes does not recognize it at all (meaning nothing happens when iTunes is opened). I'm guessing the database file the iPod has has been corrupted or something. Is there any way to restore it without a hard reset and me transferring all the songs again?
Thanks in advance for any help.
