Hi, can anyone help me? I can not turn my ipod off. I have a 20GB ipod. It has been sitting on the charge with the speakers and I took it off tonight to put in my bag and it will not turn off. Any hints on what to do?
Try holding down "Menu" and the centre "Select" button until the iPod restarts.

that happens to mine sometimes. if reset does not work, leave it alone for a while and it will either run out of battery or turn itself off eventually. what sucks is not being able to use it until that happens.
If there is a better fix, I'd love to hear it. Mine does this every couple of months or so.

Make sure you eject your iPod instead of just pulling out the cord.
