I've got an ipod mini and it's not even a year old yet but at the moment the screen won't switch off (it's been left for over 5 mins now doing nothing). The backlight is on (and has been on the whole time now since it froze) and the screen says it's playing the 1st song on my songlist but the time counter isn't moving across, no music is being played and I can't pause, skip, stop, change volume or get into the menu at all...:o Oh also pluggin it into the computer doesn't do anything at all...

Please don't tell me I have to reset it...I'm going on holiday in the morning and NEED my ipod for then!! :shake: :o

Any help is mucho appreaciated!

Ah cheers, it worked! And I kept all my songs and playlists! :) I always thought reset meant it went back to factory settings so wiped all the songs off it...oh well, I'm deliriously happy now so thanks for the advice/link!
