Hi,
I recently had a problem with my scroll wheel so I opened it up to fix it and broke something else too. Now it only works when it's plugged in to the wall, and it will immediately shut down if it gets unplugged. So I know I don't need a hard drive, LCD, probably not a logic board. Ideally I want a front plate with battery included that is known to have working scroll/click wheel and battery. Otherwise I will take a 40 GB iPod whole that was broken in a normal way (i.e., not run over by car, not hurt by water...), and simply died naturally out of warantee.
