I'd like to know of anyone that has ordered the eXo2, and information on when they'll be receiving it. I'm very interested in these cases, but $22 is still a tad bit expensive. So if anyone will be receiving these soon, please post a review and/or pictures.

*Sigh* I really wish Lajo would just release pictures of the xSkin 3G, as that's the case that's keeping me from buying the eXo2.

Thanks.

According to the UPS shipping info, I should have my new ?Sonic? blue iSkin Exo 2 in the next day or so. I'll post a review on it asap. I'll also post some pictures comparing it to my iSkin Exo ?Electra? glow-blue from Lajo.

The iSkin eXo2's got some really good pics on iSKin.com's website.. You should check it out. .the link is;

http://www.iskin.com/exo2.html

Yea, I'm still thinking on getting it.. I don't know how much longer I have for this deal they're giving the people that pre-ordered the exo from before.. I have to see, but that sonic looks real nice. Rawr. :D

Got alot of stuff that I really like.. that belt clip looks like a LOT more secure then that crappy plastic one (that broke).

Sounds Good! :D

--EDIT--
@Gourmet: Yeah, I saw those pictures. But I'd like to see some real-world pictures, when iPods are not in perfect situations. ;)

I think my dog would LOVE to sink his teeth into my skins though... He already has a hay-day trying to bite my shins!!

I can tell ya know stark, it says iSkin TM all over the iSkin.com website..

Me thinks me knows who owns the name iSkin. ;)

Actually stark this is about the new exo2 from iskin.com not Lajo. And lajo did drop the iskin name. He is slowly rebranding all his products xskn. And his exo2 ( the one with the covered buttons) is not released yet. And i think lajo used to own the name iskin in partner with iskin.com but since dropping it, doesnt anymore.

I ordered one! Hell yeah, those cases look dope. And dude, I dunno if you'll be able to find a decent case for less than $22. That's cheap in my books!

Answer to: My suggestion is to cut your losses and drop the iskin and exo names entirely ? boy I am ever happy I called may new case exo2 and not Lajo, I would not know what name to use. The name exo is directly associated to my design and as I mentioned before had exo been a dog you can be sure that iskin.com would not want any part of it, the case has sold over 55,000 now and growing so the current customer base is worth over 1.6 million and who would not want to attach themselves to that name.

Ok got my eXo2 on the mail today -- looks nice -- I think the case part - the silicone part is what ud expect it to be - the look and feel of it -- fits nicely to my 30 gb iPod.

But the belt clip just sucks - it broke the first time I tried it on my belt - the small nipples that acctually attach the case to the belt clip just snapp out of the steel pad inside the case.

Why they havent fimly attached the "bults" or whatever they are called in the first place is beyond me... Ill just have to do some welding. For me an easy job ( ie ask my father ) - but for most not so.

Please post some pictures. I am working on 3 new belt clips for exo and exo2 so every bit of information I get from belt clip failures is vital to me. Don?t bother trying to fix it will a welding torch just get a new case you will be saving yourself a lot of unnecessary pain.

Get a replacement case u mean -- I live in Sweden -- aint gonna send it back -- its too #### expensive. Welding will easilly solve it anyway...

I can email u some pics if u want some.

You should not have to send the case back, it makes no sense for the company nor the client a new case is easily popped into the mail and sent off to you again. Remember you are the momentum behind a product if you are not happy everything gets stuck in the mud.

Hmm. Seems the eXo2 is kind of fragile.

@Lajo: The Picture you posted is gorgeous. I'm definitely waiting for your xSkn 3G. I love how the whites of the wheel and buttons show through, and you can still see the red colors of the backlight. One thing that does have me worried is the durability of the silicon over the button and wheel. Since it's really thin, won't it tear easily?

This Japanese silicone is really strong and I would imagine it can take a lot punishment. We will all know how well it does over the next few months. I am standing behind it and I will give a replacement case if it fails from normal use for 6 months. I have 2 keyboard protectors made from silicone with the same thickness as around the control wheel, these have been in the market for a year without anyone writing that they have worn out. I personally think it will last as long as the rest of the case.

That is why I believe there is no such thing as one size fits all and 1 case can stisf

I want a Sonic Blue like iSkin's eXo. Man, that's gorgeous.
Except maybe a different name -- I keep thinking of Sonic the Hedgehog, and that's not really something I want to associate with my iPod. ;)

But that Tropical Mist is excellent too. It looks all lush and paradisey.

Here's the latest pic:

Absolutely Gorgeous! I'm so bewildered on which one to buy. So Lajo, how's about a release date? ;)

I just received my iskin exo2 today. It's a pretty decent case. I like the cover it has for the firewire port.

The control buttons are now beveled, but it's very slight, and only on the bottom of the button. It's still better than the original though. The belt clip seems okay, although people have already had problems with it. I don't really use belt clips too much, so it doesn't really matter to me.

All in all this is a good case, and i can use it for now until I decide whether I want to buy Lajo's new exo2.

I just got my iSkin eXo2 as well. I couldn't pass up the $14.99 deal. I got the Sonic blue and it took only 2 days to arrive. The beveled openings do make it easier to access the buttons. The iPod's Hold switch is now much easier to access. I like the bottom port cover, but they actually made the hole smaller than before, so connectors like the Belkin auto kit don't fit in quite as easily. I have no complaints about the belt clip so far. It has a much lower profile than before, but I don't use the belt clip much. Since the belt clip was designed this way however, there is no longer the bump on the back of the iSkin. The anti-static coating doesn't seem to do anything. I have just as much lint and stuff on the eXo2 as I have on the original. I might try washing it in soapy water and see if that helps. All in all, I think it's a better case than the original iSkin eXo, but it's still not perfect.
