Hello to you, my name is Nathan, and this is my Christmas iPod Adventure. Heres the deal, for christmas i'm getting a 40GB iPod! (Yay) so i thought i'd let everyone know what happens. So keep checking back!! : )

24 November 2003: Heres the story so far on Saturday (22 Nov) i bought a 40GB off eBay - Take a L00K! (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41002&item=3059786567) I think got a pretty deal (Apple UK Price = ?400, I Got it for ?270). So i sent the money through BidPay, which told me it would take 10 days for the seller to get payment! Why oh why does he only accept PayPal from the US? : ( Anyway, now the wait begins...

I want to get some accesories so if you can recommend any let me know!

a little wierd the seller says its 4th gen when its picture is 3rd and there is no 4th gen ipod yet... eh probly just a typo

Invest in a good case because the 'Pod will scratch if you breathe on it. There's plenty of information and discussion on what case suits what needs in the Gear section of the forum.

Anyone know of good thread dealing with buying off an eBay seller? I live in Ireland and would save a fortune if I could find someone decent. Looking to buy a brand new 3G 20gb.

above, 4th gen ipods, some refer to them any way, are the new 20GB and 40GB, initialy, people came out saying they were 4th gens, but they only have bigger hard drives, not any hard ware changes so they are still 3rd gens

UPDATE: OMG! Panic! Anyone know anything about Bidpay? I sent the money on the 24th of Nov, and it says 'Awaiting Bidpay.com approval' What does this mean? Help!!
