The Yamaha MusicCAST (http://www.yamaha.com/yec/musiccast/idx_concept.htm) is the next step in home entertainment?
One easy-to-use system lets you play different music in up to eight locations at the same time.
Instead of keeping multiple stereo systems and piles of CD's scattered around your home, store all your music in the MusicCAST Server's 80gb memory. It holds upto 1000 CD's in MP3 format and transmits to wireless MusicCAST players (called "Clients") anywhere in the house. Clients can play different music selections at the same time from the same Server.
You can play creat individual playlists and even burn CD's using the Server's built-in recorder.
Clients work with MusicCAST wall mountable speakers or your existing audio equipment.
Anice idea but at $3200 for the server, 1 Client and 2 speakers the iPod is perhaps a cheaper alternative.
Still a nice idea.
