i just got my wife an ipod and the dlo transpod for her birthday. it seemed to get pretty decent reviews. then i started now reading about the Kensington transmitter. does anyone have an opinion on comparisons between these 2? i realize fm transmitters all have their issues but as far as sound quality/interference reduction, which woudl be the better of the 2? (we live in Milwaukee, WI if that helps anyone) thanks!
Kensington, I live in Northern NJ . Kensington can over power most stations. Find with my stock HU on a 1999 Ford Ranger the middle FM band like above 94 works best. When I use Fm freq at 88.1 or below sound quality sucks. I believe my stock radio has better specifications as far as frequency response in the middle of FM dial.

I have the Kensington and I'm very happy with it, (I use if for rental cars, and use an AUX IN when I'm home.)
Both the Kensington and Transpod have gotten very good reviews.
One thing to keep in mind: While the design of the transpod is very slick and can be very convenient, it might be just the opposite for people who use an iSkin type case, and are frequently taking the ipod in and out of the car.
The DLO's design probably requires removing that skin every time you put it in the cradle. That would be a deal breaker for me personally, and is not an issue with the kensington.
I wish these accessory people would realize how many folks use those skins, and make cradles that accommodate them.
