I went down to best buy today to buy the Belkin FM Transmitter and they had none in stock so the guy at BB told me that I should go with the Harmon Kardon Wired FM Transmitter as it worked much better than the wireless ones, and it was only $30...told him I would need to go home and check them out so here I am. All I need is this one unti correct? ( http://www.harmanaudio.com/search_browse/product_detail.asp?urlMaterialNumber=DPFMT%201US&status= )
Do I need anything else to get my Nano to be used in my Car? If so what else do I need? I really cant find any user manual or anything technical about them...I assume that once the iPod is turned on it trans mit at a specified Channel but what channel would that be, I dont see any info about that either. I would really appreciate any input on this as I am in a little hurry to get this puppy running in the car.

If i'm not mistaken you can't use that in your car unless you have the whole drive n play system. the guy at best buy obviously didn't know anything, because you have to buy the 200 dollar system, and then if your car does not have the right hookups then you buy this fm transmitter.

Thanks homersmpsns for the input, I did find out today that it cant be used as a stand alone system, so it looks like I am just going to purchase a new radio with an aux port on it.
