Which would you buy. White or Black Macbook?
White. Can't see why someone would pay a premium for the black.

Everybody's got a black notebook. IBM's are all blacks.
White is what make Apple distintive. NOBODY makes a white notebook. I think I saw a white generic from Taiwan at eBay but that's it.
I am sorry, still love the iBooks, the new ones, I don't think they look that good.

I would buy the black model.
I don't care much for the black, but it's not worth an extra $500 to go for a MacBook Pro, just to have it silver.
Other than that, the Black MacBook and the 15" MacBook Pro are very similar.
Of course, if I could spend as much as I wanted, I'd buy the high-end 15" MacBook Pro- 17" is too big to really be portable. For something that big, I'd just buy an iMac for much less money.

Amen. All PC computers are all black. Apple makes something that looks nice and a whole different color.

The black one only has a 20GB bigger hard drive over the high-end white one.
You can change that for $50, so you're paying $150 for the black color.

Since that most obviously seems to be the 12" PowerBook G4 successor.
White one, even if they were equally price, white looks better

The black one is for dh to use at work, less likely to get dirty. The white one is for me.

White. My iPod is white, my speakers are white, and the accessories that come with the MacBook are white.
