I hope they update the iPod line this week (maybe Thursday).

Now that the MacBooks are out I was hoping for updated iPods.

I'm itching to buy one but will wait it out.

There is still a media event on Thursday.

i can guarantee they won't release new iPods thursday, because Apple has never released a new product on a thursday, always tuesdays

This statement is false as the last 2 iPods were released on a Wednesday.

Case in point:

5th Gen iPod:
Wednesday Oct. 12, 2005

In the past I have seen Apple launch products on any weekday.

Had to point this out, you just said there is is still... repeating is or you could be saying there (object) is still... which wouldn't make any sense, sorry it wasn't a big deal I just wanted to say that.


Back to the topic: I doubt they will release it on thursday because I would have heard more about this event thingy if people thought a new pod would be released
