Going on a trip to Ireland

We live in the US and we're taking a trip to Ireland. We're renting a car, and we'd like to be able to use our Belkin car power adapter. Does anyone know if it will work? Are the cigarette lighters the same across countries?

I think that they are standard. Post photo with dimensions if in doubt

they will work fine - car voltage is nowedays standardized between Europe and the US
