Ok, here we go. I recently bought the itrip and it sucked. Now, what i wanted to do was connect the ipod to my stereo or my cd player so i get quality sound and bass. I currently have a 99 mercedes c230 with a aftermarket cd changer. In order to play cd's through this cd changer in my car, i had to buy a fm modulator. This worked fine for playing cd's. I used the freq. 88.7 and worked fine in the L.A. Area.
This is where im confused. I dont know where to start. Is it possible to set up the ipod through my car stereo or my cd changer? Can it go through the fm modulator i have for my cd player? What do you guys think is the best idea i should do.
ALL I WANT IS GOOD CD QUALITY MUSIC COMING OUT OF MY CAR..THATS ALL I WISH...oh yeah AND NO WIRES...im anal :P

Please dont recommend the iTrip. I have it and i regret wasting money on it. Can't even get my money back.

What i really dont understand is how they hook up the ipod to the stereo or anything in that matter. THe only thing that can go in the ipod is the connector on the bottom and the heaphone jack on top. How the hell would any of those wires go into my car stereo? WIll i have to buy the belkin auto kit that goes into my cigarette light? i hope not. Please help me.

Guys, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say, "SEARCH THE FORUMS!" Almost every question you have (especially simple ones like that) can be answered if you just go back and find old posts....the answers still work, it doesnt matter that that are old...they won't bit. But, since I am nice I will answer some of your questions, hoping next time you will search next time before asking anything. Alright, want you need is RCA line out coming out of your ipod (you know, the red and white cables). So, you can either buy a Belkin car adapater. Or, go to radioshack (best buy, whereever) and buy a headphone to rca cable. Moster makes one called the iCable. Once you have that, you need to connect it to your car. Most of the time you cannot connect it directly to your cd player, but check first. If not, you have to buy an adapter that usually plugs into your cd changer controls that will let you use rca. try www.rcainputs.com and ww.blitzsafe.com. Again, for the last time, everything I said here has been said a million times in previous posts! Thats why no one has probebly responded to yours yet.
