I bought the Roadtrip for my iPod mini and was pleased with its performance. I now have the 30G iPod Video and when using it with the Roadtrip a strange occurrence occurs - when the back light fades on the iPod (about 10 seconds after a selection is made), static immediately comes through the radio, but as soon as the select button is pressed it goes away. I find myself sitting with the iPod in my right hand in my lap continually pressing the select button to the beat of whatever tune I happen to be playing - not an optimal solution. Anyone else seen this behaviour? Recommendations on which FM transmitter I should try now? (I really thought the Roadtrip was pretty darn good for the price and plug and play capability).
