My first question is does the v3c have iTunes, because I'm already sure v3i does.

My second question is, which one is the better model overall?

I'm not 100% sure, but the v3c does not have iTunes. If it did, it would have the green iTunes icon to the top-right of the directional pad.

Okay, thanks for the information. Do you know which phone is relatively better?

I'd go for the v3i, seeing as it has iTunes plus other improved features over the v3c

Ya I do agree with that, I'm just not feeling the colour to much and the physical aspect of a phone is important to me.

v3i is a GSM phone which may or may not have iTunes.

My carries Rogers offers the phone with iTunes (100 song) cap.

v3c is a CDMA version of the v3 and does not have iTunes.

Guys, that about the new Razr DG? The gold color looks pretty cool. That's all there is to it? new color, or does it have better features?

Everytime I need a new phone, it gives me a headache! Makes funding for my kids' education or buying a house a cinch.

V3 and V3C don't have iTunes. v3 has a still camera, while the v3c has a video camera and still camera.

Plus, the DG is a v3i and if you're loaded or like to spend lots of money on a phone, that ones awesome. the keypads gold!!!!

How do i get a 40 second clip from my computer to my razr and use it as a ringtone? I know it can be done, but not sure how.

THanks!

Well, with my iTunes V3i... it automatically registers as a FAT volume under XP. I just DRAG my ringtone MP3 to it.... Then on the phone, I go into MyStuff -> Audio, highlight the desired MP3, hit the Menu button (which gives me options of what to do with the selection), and I say Use for Ringtone. THAT'S IT. I dunno whether on V3 would be different. If u have no iTunes, then probly need to purchase the Motorola Phone Tools.

I wouldn't go with any phone from Verizon because of its out-dated technology. They don't even have phones with SIM cards! That's the biggest drawback of Verizon.

I was a very happy Verizon customer for 7 years. Connections was always clear and their big advantage is, if your usage is mainly in the U.S., get an analog capable phone (which seem available only with CDMA) and one would get connection when ALL other digital towers are out of range. If there is a V3i CDMA I would had stayed with them.

I like Verizon a lot. Sure it doesn't have all of the cool phones first but it works great. The connection is always good and I'm rarely in a place that doesn't have signal. I think the last time I was in a place was when I went up into the mountains, and that was about 2 years ago, since the last time I went it had about 2 bars left.

I have to go with who has better service, and SIM cards or no, Verizon has always had better service than comparable cingular phones. They're starting to get some good new phones and I have the new KRZR on order...

don't know why you'd buy a RAZR at all...the phone is like two years old now, they just keep making new iterations of the same thing...

also, Verizon has the V3m which doesn't have iTunes but is music capable.

how do you connect it to the computer though? did you buy a special USB?

Yeah, verizon has a music pack that comes with the headphone headset, the software, and the USB cable...it uses WMP10.

Unfortunately I have this metal fetish :D

KRZR... not too crazy about the side "speaker grill" retro look, and the elongated shape, but features wise of course yer right. I don't expect to be using any of the web features anyways.

If they didn't come out with the V3i, The LG 9800 slider was my second choice (seems to me, sliders are more hand-friendly), followed by the Chocolate (stupid name, it's black, not brown!)

my friend has a chocolate, and while cool, the touch buttons are annoying, especially the outside ones. I have one of the samsung sliders and it is an awesome upgrade to my previous RAZR V3(i have t-mobile)
