lock symbol in ipodphoto

I changes pc (win xp) and I had to re-upload all my songs to the ipod.
18 hours later i cannot play any songs in iTunes since the ipod is locked somehow.

there is a lock at the statusbar

how can i UNLOCK THIS Beast?

did you check the hold switch on the top of the iPod? if red is showing then the hold switch is activated. if white is showing the hold switch is off.

the lock is in the status bar of itunes, the ipod is unlocked!

I reset the ipod and am reloading everything. But the lock is still on there!

set your iPod to manually update and you can play music directly from the iPod.

iTunes -> Preferences -> iPod -> Music -> Manually manage songs and playlists.
