30 G video conversion problem

I put videos into my video library in QuickTime format. I understand this format will not play on the iPod, so I use the "convert Selection for iPod" option under the Advanced tab in the menu. The vidoe is converted and another file show up in my library. This new Mpeg-4 file downloads to my iPod with video but I have no audio through iTunes or on my iPod with the new file. Any suggestions?

I think this is a re-post, but correct me if I am wrong. Try searching, and don't forget to make sure it is encoded correctly. PSP Video 9 works, or once again try searching. I think it is a codec problem.

Use the guide to sticky & see page 3 for free software that will convert the original file w/ audio.
