I have a brand new 4gen 20gig ipod for sale with a screen protector applied on it. comes with original box, charger, firewire and usb cables, earbuds with black foam covers and an universal dock for sale.

oh i meant 350 canadian. worth 300 for the ipod alone and 70 for the dock+10 for the screen protector and still 3 months of applecare left

ummm....like techound1 said, apple has it refurbed for 169 at apple, and the dock is 40, (dont know about the screen protector), and i know u said canadian but the us dollar is about 87cents to a canadian dollar.ur price is very high

i don't think my prices are very high..the dock is 69.99xtax=80.48, screen protector=$9.99xtax=$11.48, i found out that the ipod is 199.99xtax=228.85, firewire cable was $45 canadian so the total is $365.81 retails however since my price is a bit close to retail i will add 3 extra cases, one genuine apple ipod case ($49.99)+1 lajo camo blue ($19.95) + one aftermarket ($19.99) and ishade,iclip for the lajo case

I'm sorry man, you're just not going to get anything NEAR that price. Accessories are sold for super-cheap on eBay, and the iPod itself isn't worth more than $150 in a classified ad or auction.

This just isn't going to work out for you the way you pictured it, especially since you're a new iLounger.

techound1's right. You'll have to part it out if you want to get anywhere near that price... and you still won't make as much as you're asking.

this is in canadian dollars and thanks for all the great threadcrapping! :rolleyes: considering im in canada and a wall adaptor costs 40 alone and a case is 50 i think my price is fair..considering trade for a 4gig nano

Hey, I'm not trying to be rude... Just letting you know it's not going to happen when a like-new refurb from Apple would only be 169.99 and it would come with the wall adapter at that price. The case, as I said, is something you can get on eBay for a lot less than 50. Especially when a like-new refurb from Apple is basically new, and yours is obviously 9 months old now. It may be "like new" but it is, for all intents and purposes, used.

I'm sure you think your price is fair, and perhaps it is, but it's not competitive in a used market online. That's all anyone is saying here.

You might have some luck with the trade.

but i wouldnt pay $300 usd for that, nor would anyone i know
you could however get $150-200
im actually about to list this exact ipod used for $160 shipped, and on ebay id get 170
so $200 would be the realistic price you'd get

if your not willing to face that fact, i wouldnt count on selling it in these classifieds
