Hi guys.

I got back from gym today to find the courier just arriving at my doorstep with myyyyyyy 5g video ipod! I opened it very carefully to reveal a beautiful black ipod. I shoved the USB into my computer to charge and went down and bought a (crappy) plastic covering for it. I had to rip off the back because it wouldnt stick down. Anyway besides that......I loaded some videos on it and the quality iS GREAT! My cousin came over yesterday with his PSP and I thought the movies were great on his PSP and I thought maybe I've made a mistake. I think the video quality is just as good! Anyway I am very very very happy with my new ipod. I will have to change my signature. (Sold my photo one as well)

Even if the PSP's screen was better (which it should be for gaming) In the video arena the iPod will always shoot it down for the simple reason that an iPod has a 30gb HD while the PSP has only ######ed 4gb sticks.

Glad you like it, I love mine... The videos & VODcasts that is.

Yeah sold the photo one. Only complaint about the 5g is the battery life. Oh well, still rocks :D

I had a DELL DJ (first gen) after I filled my 2G iPod, the navigation was cumbersome (at best) and after a while the case started to split in two. It was also cumbersome to use with a Mac. After a little while I just bought a 4th Gen iPod.

There are some players that have features I wish the iPod had (iRiver [customisable menu background + radio]) but overall I still think iPods have the highest quality (both build and audio) plus they are one of the few that actually work well with Macs (that kills me to say)
