itunes doesnt recognise songs using ephpod2

hey guys/gals. i recently got ephpod2 which enables the transfer of music from ipod into windows then into itunes. When i copy the music to my hardrive the files are there but when i try to open them in itunes nothing happens. Ive tried dragging/importing the file but itunes just does nothing.
