I used DVDShrink to create a .VOB file of a DVD. I tried to convert with Videora using the iPod setting on the guide on this site. The .mp4 from Videora has great video, but no sound, except for static.

Thanks,

Not sure, but I would recommend the program "PSP Video 9". Basically does the same thing, but its meant for a PSP. Converts the files in perfect audio/video quality for the iPod. That's what I use for the movies/music videos that I have.

Welcome. If you use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD it will give you one .vob file that you can transcode. You need to use different software with DVDShrink like Nero.

There is a link to Decrypter on the sticky at the top of this forum 'Guides To' on page 3.
