ok.. well my ipod is ####ed. ive had previous ipods that have erased themselves from not ejecting it properly from itunes but this has been the worst. it's a 30g ipod video and i unplugged it without realising i was using itunes. all of my songs and videos were erased. i plug it back in and a box pops up at the bottom when the pc detects an external drive. it says something about itunes corrupt files etc. i then check itunes and it wont read my ipod and i go to my computer and it is called 'removable drive' instead of 'iPod'. also it will not open and freezes in 'my computer'. i tried restoring it with ipod updater, that froze at almost the end of restoring. anapod reinitializer just freezes when i use it aswell.. i neeeed help... ive reinstalled the disc that came with the ipod and that still hasnt worked. i dont know what to do.

well.. i phoned apple tech support(which is 1-800-263-3394 as they do not advertise on their site). the ipod is messed and theyre having me send mine to them and theyre sending me a new one.. if anybody goes through what i did, they should call their support line and have them send you an iPod that is not faulty.
