I am sure this has been asked before but i have looked all around and cant find a complete solution. Have looked on the Apple site where there is some info, but there must be an easier way.

Got a new PC and want to transfer all my ipod music to the new PC and into itunes. The music is in several different locations on the old pc, different internal drives in different folders and on external drives.

Using some software from here I have managed to copy all the music across to the pc but not sure what to do now. Do i just drag all the music into the new itunes from the new location and then let the ipod sync. Will this remove all the same music on the ipod from the old locations.

Apologies if the solution is on here, if it is please would somebody direct me to the thread.

Thanks

Thanks Honeybee...I think i am almost there. cant quite get the last bit..
As both old and new PC have internal HDs im a bit unsure what i need to do on the new PC.

On the new PC do i just reload itunes and then drag all the music files into the new itunes and the just let the ipod sync to the new PC.

Thanks
