I have a 30gig iPod color. I have read all the forums about album art problems, and none seem to mention this problem.
When the battery on my 30gig is low and I turn it on, sometimes the sliver apple logo comes up. Not a problem. Just tells me its in power saver mode. Then when playing songs after the sliver 'low batt' the art is dissappeared. Even connecting it to a charger, then power cycling does absolutely nothing.
I wonder if when the battery gets low that it clears the album art database to save power? Is there anyway to stop this so that I don't have to re-do the db when i stupidly forget to charge it?
This has happened several times, all with low battery that causes the screen on startup to show sliver apple then no art....hmmmm
maybe the database is in a different table that erases after long periods?
has anyone else had this problem? am I crazy?
