Charging Cable with Pass-through Dock connector

I recently purchased the iPod Camera Connector now i knew the battery drain was going to be high due to the constant disk access but I didn't realise quite how bad it was, I managed to copy about 60 odd images (6mp JPEG) on a half-full battery. I wondered if anyone knew of where I could obtain a cable that will allow me to plug my ipod into a power supply and also use the dock connector for the data-transfer at the same time, or if it is feasible to construct one?

You could, in theory, hack into the camera connector to apply power to your iPod and the camera.

yeah i thought about that but do you think the camera adapter has any delicate insides that could be damaged by this or is it just simply a usb -> dock connector?
