headphone suggestion help

Looking to finally replace my crappy iPod earbuds. Looking to get both earbuds, for when I workout, and headphones, for whenever, just chillin. Looking to spend 60-80 dollars tops all together. Also if it helps, I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop and Metal. Any suggestions?
I am currently looking at the Sont MDR-NC6 & Koss Sparkplug earbuds. Those at all good?

Avoid the 'Plugs like the plague.

You need to spend more than that to get good phones and earbuds.

The best cheap in-ear buds are the Sennheiser CX300s, which are about $50, though I'd go a bit higher and get the Panasonic HJE70s, which are $89.
