Have the games on your iPod saved you from boredom in class?

I got bored today in band class (I'm a percussionist, and it was "Wonderful World of Wind" day today), so I whipped out the fredPod and began playing solitaire.

I won twice, and the hour was over in what felt like 15 minutes.

Has anyone else ever used the games on their iPod to destroy time in a boring class?

ye for sure, when i had IPL on my ipod i played idoom when i was bored.

yeah, my ipod saved me from boredom in my IT class... its the only class we can use our ipods/mp3 players in.... i got a new pb in brick: 230 XD

Ipod is the 1st option to kill boredomness in my school
the second option is my Palm
the third option is my Cellphone
If all of the 3 fails I remember to bring my gameboy next day xD

Never played the games before.....Would rather use it to listen music or view videos :)

BTW, I do not bring my Poddy to the campus for fear it will lost / stolen..

You bet ur ### they have but it's been more than just a boring ### class. Take for instance going to the mall with friends. Or beening in the car with parents. I hate to say it but Thank you Apple.

edit: Forgot to mention... this sem. I can't use it during class because all my classes are in the dark and it's stadium like seating. I wear glasses so if I play games then the teach will know. :rolleyes:

i hate my engilsh class, it's so incredibly boring. i whip out my ipod and play brick or solitaire and my class goes by much quicker!

You use your iPod while you're out with friends? Are they really that boring, or is it you? And, if you're just going to mess around with your iPod in class, why even bother going?

I can't say I hate iPods. I love them. I just dislike certain people who don't know when to leave the damn thing at home.

I've been Plugged into my Ipod for like 8 hours (Top Record).

But I quit using Ipod when:
1.Im with the friends
2. Im with the chick
3. There's a song in the background
4. In the Gym
5. In The Club
6. In the shower xD

And so on wiht the obvious stuff..

Freddy, said he was a percussionist, i am also one at my school and one of two drum set players in band although im starting jazz band too, one of the other percussionists brings her ipod video and watches south park on it, since i don't have a video i just watch hers and it has saved me from boredom when we have to chill for the whole hour, which is something the director has us do a lot, shame hes goin to south carolina

I know when it's appropriate to use it and when it's not. Sometimes my friends will want to see something like a funny video off my iPod or I may want to show them something I found but I'm not rude with it and I don't always have it with me.

Anyway... now that I'll be getting back on topic. Now that I found Rockbox and the games it has I think I'm screwed for school. At work it was so boring I played Bubbles the whole 4hrs. I was there. http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/6393/5scared6yr.gif
