i have a 30 gb photo ipod, and the first time the sad ipod icon came up i had to plug it into my computer and restore it and reload everything on there. it happened again and this time my computer would not recognize my ipod as being there. i was at school at the time and had no way of getting to a best buy, where i purchased it from and have a service plan for it... then i got home from spring break about a week and a half later, and when i went to go take it to them to fix/replace, it started working again. i had tried several times to get it working again between it breaking and going to best buy, and it wouldnt work. so now, i go back to school, and 3 weeks later it does the same thing. this was last friday. i checked it each day and the same sad icon came up and my computer wouldnt recognize it. now, as i was about to go to best buy to have them fix/replace it, my ipod just started working again. any idea what the hell is going on? i have always suspected best buy of being evil, are they behind this? #######s. if anyone has any idea of whats up and how i can fix it or get the #### to rebreak so i can bring it in to get it replaced, let me know. i'm very frusterated, and i need my ipod to be reliable because i am a dj and i use it for shows. thanks for your help.
