I haven't used those in a few years, but I don't remember being that impressed with them. If anything, they're good for the money, but don't sound any better than the cost...

I will choose the new philips SHE785 Earphone over these old sony! The phones and package both look wonderful! Sound quality of those philips low end are very promising! I recommend them!

well for me Sony MDR-ED21LP are the best fit as if they were molded for me, thus provide very good seal and tones of bass.
i tried many different inear headphones sonys 51 71 81, jvc similar sytel and philips, and i can never get good seal in my right ear(its shaped funny or something i don know), those just dont work for me.
i staked up on MDR-ED21LP just in case they will discontinue them. but its been over 2 years and same pair is still going good and thats every day use, no problems with cord/connector or anything else.

You don't read too well, do you?
If you did, you'd see that I recommend different headphones at different price points and for different things.
I don't always support the CX300.
I do always criticise the EX51/71.
My recommendations:
Cheap, good bass: Sennheiser CX300
Reasonable price: Panasonic HJE70 and Audio Technica ATH CK7
High end: Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5
Non in-ear: Sony E888
Over-the-ear portable: Sennheiser CX100 and 200 or Sony G73

No his english isn't too good, says me who put 'Ne' in the title of this thread hehe. I think you and tommy's little fued is going to carry on for a while, ever since he called you an Idiot he has critised all of your advise lol.
I'm about to buy some Phillips SHE9501, i listened to them on a friends Ipod and there quality is quite good enough for me, i'll consider the CX300's when i have a little more money, and can substantiate spending £35 on earphones, i know its not really a lot considering the price of some but im a little skint :(
They're £14.00 on Ebay :D , is this a good deal (i think it is obvious as my friend paid £25) and and the buyer has 100% positive feedback, has anyone had these earphones break or crackle??? because obviously theres no warranty on Ebay, they are in factory packaging btw
Thanks Alot all :D

Save your money. Put up with the Apple buds until you can afford something better.
And if you can't then the JVC HA FX55 are better than the Phillips.....

Yeah! both 9500 and 9501 are very good for the money! They are availabe in some of the online retail for 20 bucks with 1 year warrantly. The build quality of all philips line up are very good! Recommend them.
