Ram?

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. As stated in the review of the 5G ipods, the 30GB model has 32MB of RAM and the 60GB has 64MB of RAM. Apparently with 32MB the hard drive buffers songs roughly every 30 minutes or 8 songs or so (at 128kbps)? My 20GB iPod w/color display goes about 4 songs before it buffers more songs. Could it only have 16MB of RAM?

I think some of your RAM is dead.

Boot in Diagnostic mode, Go to Memory>SDRAM>SDRAM Full Test. Sounds like it will fail the test, which takes five min.
