Hi,

Just want to share with everyone over here that I was able to connect my iPod in my 03 Honda Odyssey with stock stereo as well as in my 01 Nissan Altima (Kenwood deck). I'm using auxillary input adapter to connect to both this cars along with Monster iCable & Belkin charger (which I bought from Circuit City for 19.99).

For Honda Odyssey I used Aux input connector from LogJam. It is here (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/logjam/piehonaux.html) . I bought iCable from BestBuy for 29.99. Installation was straight forward. I followed instruction as per
here (http://www.handa-accessories.com/odyssey/03odycd.pdf) . It took me 20 minutes to install aux in adapter and then I was all done with my Honda Ody.

I've Kenwood deck DPX 4030 (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-OKr0xQGUJJg/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=52600&I=113DPX4030&o=m&a=0&cc=01&avf=N) . I bought adapter from Cruthcfeild for the same. This is link for adapter (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-OKr0xQGUJJg/ProdView.asp?s=0&cc=01&i=113CAC1AX&o=&a=0) . Installation in Altima was also straight forward as I've installed my deck in past. It took me 15 minutes to connect adapter in Altima.

Now I can enjoy my iPod in both cars.

I've not seen it yet. I've completed everything yesterday only so might need to give some time. I've not used Belkin adapter yet in my Ody.

How do I find out if my 2001 Nissan Altima CD player has the required input. The model no on the frontpanel is CY028.

If someone knows this already is it easy to hook this stuff yourself or do I have to go to a pro to get this done?

thanks.

For your nissan altima, you can use ipod connector. In my side, I use it and it works perfectly. I found one at http://www.nissanaltimaipodmp3.com/
This connector works for the Nissan models with a circular 8-PIN DIN socket connector on the back of their car stereo systems
