Dear Folks.....I encountered a strange situation. I dont know if I harmed anything!!
I bought this new Photo Connector, Connected my camera and iPod as instructed. Like a darling, iPod got all the photos in there as Roll 1. Then I disconnected everything and connected the iPod to my Desktop. Opened the Windows explorer, found the iPod among the connected drives. I expanded the directories and found the DCIM directory and the pictures there which I transferred on to my comp. Now
1. Can I just delete the DCIM directory from my iPod to clear up the space? Would this confuse the iPod in any way?
2. There was no way I could eject the device methodically, either through windows (XP-Pro), iTunes or Real. The iPod screen continued to show...'Dont Disconnect your iPod'. But I had to pull the plug on it. Would I have hurt the iPod in any way?
3. What do I do in a situation like case 2?
Whats the best practice for this kind of usage? I mean getting pictures in and out.
Thank You all in advance experts...
