Where is the safest and most affordable to store to get your ipod engraved? I got my ipod from the apple store and they said they can't engrave it there.

a jewelry store?
online apple store. but i wouldnt recommend it because it would be really hard to resell it if you ever wanted to.

i used to have an engraved ipod...then something went wrong and when i sent it in it took 3.5 weeks to get it back because apple had to send it to be checked out, then reorder it, then send it to china to have it engraved...i almost went crazy...then something went wrong again, but this time i took it to an applestore and they asked if it mattered that they couldn't give me one that was engraved...i said no and was on my way...so i never engraved again, i went to my local officemax bought some of those clear mailing labels...put them in my printer and went into ms word and designed my own engraving from all the different fonts, scripts and color...i have the option now to redesign my ipod's back anytime...with anything i want
