Remove Duplicate Song Files ??

Does anybody have a favorite program/tool for deleting duplicate song files on your hard drive (note, not from the iTunes library); preferably cheap and not loaded with spy/adware !

The absolute cheapest and best way to remove duplicates is to set up playlist called Duplicates.

Set iTunes to display by song, which will make then all alphabetical.

Scroll down, moving each set of duplicates into the playlist.

Spend a few days assesing which of each sounds better -- take notes.

Keep the better version, send the worse one to the recycle bin.

You'd be amazed at the difference in sound quality if you've imported the same song from different sources.

It's laborious, but kind of fun in its own way.
