Sennheiser CX300

After reading around, these seem like the earphones for me. I had the Sony 51s until the left earphone mysteriously died on me.

One quick question:

On amazon, they have the silver pair (here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E1DSAE/ref=pd_sbs_e_1/102-7571023-8521709?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=172282) ), and the black pair (here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E1FYQA/ref=ord_cart_shr/102-7571023-8521709?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance&n=172282) ). The silver pair is somehow $15 more, and I was wondering if there was more than simply a cosmetic difference between the two.

Also, does anyone have any general advice with these earphones?

Is there any real-life retail chain in the US that sells the Sennheiser CX300s? I'd rather buy them in real life so that i can return them just in case [returns on Internet purchases are too much of a hassle and you have to pay shipping]
