anyone got a pair of Bose quite comfort 2?

been reading a lot about these in the press recently.
all the stars have them. i was wondering what these are like?
they do look massive, and in my experience headphones this size don't tend to be that loud.

so are they worth the money?

you could do so much better with less than 1/2 the cost of the quiet comforts
i recommend sound isolation rather than cancelation

It's true what they say about Bose: you either love em or you hate em. I don't want to go as far as saying that I love em (stuff is so expensive), but our family has had a good experience with their stuff so far and I decided to give the QC2's a shot and so far I'm not going to say that I'm blown away by these but they're definately a step towards what I want in overall performance. I'm quickly learning how crucial noice-cancelling is when you use public transit to school or work and because of Bose's 30 day trial I'm giving these a shot. If money isn't an issue for you I'd say definately go for these.

If you want positive feedback on Bose products in general odds are you're not going to get them from users in head-fi.org or any other audiophile forum, but in general these guys do know what they're talking about.

Haha. I liked that acronym. I've never heard it before. Anyways, I keep hearing bad reviews about anything BOSE. So I'd do some researche into like Senns or Sonys? I've been doing some homework myself into getting some cans.:(
