I had a pair of Sennheiser HD-270's a while back and they were pretty nice. Good noise isolation, confortable, and really long (removable!) cord. The sound quality wasn't the best, but it was good enough for $80 headphones.
Long story short, my dog chewed them up, and now I'm looking for a replacement. sennheiser no longer sells the HD-270, and I don't see anything else on their products page that looks similar.
So, I'm looking for recomendations on what headphones to get. Another pair of Sennheiser's would be nice, but that's not a requirement
Info:
Price range: under $150 would be good, but I'll pay up to $200 depending on the 'phones
Useage: listening to iPod in noisy enviorments, live sound mixing, some studio work. (note: they don't have to be closed, but it would be a big plus)
Type of music: Mainly Rock/Metal
Thanks guys
