After looking at these, I may consider buying some if they sold them in the UK. I have the stock earphones now and have read that you can get better sound then that is produced by the stock earphones (I have nothing to compare them too). I have also seen the sennheiser 550 and 500 ones, forgot the model code but they go int he ear. i would be looking to spend about £35 max, which is prob around $50. So if there are any better at this price then id be happy for your opinions.

N.B. I am more bothered about sound quality then style, colour etc. But at the same time i dont want to look a complete outcast.

Right now the v-moda products are being distributed worldwide, so it will take at least 6-8 weeks to reach UK stores.

However, you can purchase today from v-moda.com and we ship outside the US for $15 flat.

Here is how Dan Frakes of Playlist/Macworld compared the Remix to Sennheiser MX500/MX550 (same model but with or without volume):

How do the Remix M-Class earbuds compare to Sennheiser's offerings? Although the MX-400 and MX-500 are clearly better than the iPod's stock 'buds, they don't have the bass response of the M-Class (which is, by the company's own admission, slightly emphasized to better fit the tastes of most consumers). The M-Class earbuds also sound a bit richer and warmer overall.

Cheers. I'm not to keen on the shipping business, so I think if I havent bought a pair before 6 weeks or so ill definately look out for these.

I was able to negotiate better pricing on shipping to UK and worldwide. Therefore we lowered the price for a limited time to $5 flat worldwide! (a $20 value)

We will not be able to offer this too much longer (shipping/handling/and tax included). Once we are carried at retail stores we will be pressured to raise our prices, but until then spread the word!

Sorry to be annoying, but in UK sterling how much would it equate to at the moment.
