Playing Music or Audio book

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I have a question about playing an audio book in MP3 or M4B format. When I play the audio book in MP3 format is doesn’t follow the files in the correct order, I have the files numbered 001, 002, 003 etc ….. but it doesn’t play them it that order.

If I play the audio book in M4B format it plays them in the correct order BUT at the end of each file it returns to the main menu and I have to select the next file by hand.

I have a 60 GB iPod

Let me try to explain:
when I play an audio book it doesn't play in the same order as on the iPod, Any Ideas.
