I'm being a good employee and removing iTunes and iPod software from my work laptop - strictly speaking, under IT policy I shouldn't be running anything on it without permission. So I've copied my entire library to an external hard drive, uninstalled iTunes, and tried to uninstall iPod.......but it refuses to uninstall!
The OS is Windows XP, and I'm using the add/remove programs feature from the control panel. It asks if I want to remove iPod and all selected features and I say yes...the wizard whirrs away then tells me it has finished the required "maintenance". I click finish, and there it is, still in the programs list. I've tried several times, gone into the the program folders in irritation and deleted the empty folders, reinstalled EVERYTHING from the iPod disk then tried to uninstall again.....nope, it won't be moved.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
