Hey there,

I am hooking up my ipod through the cd changer in my 2003 GLI and was wondering if anyone might know where the cd changer cable can be found in the trunk. checked all over the web and these forums for an answer. Thanks for your help

I don't know if you've gotten familiar with the 'tex (www.vwvortex.com) but the forums there have a palethra of info specific to our cars.

Go to the main site, get into a forum and then search in a forum for ipod whatever. the main FAQ for what you're doing is here:

I have a Jetta 1.8T, and mine was in the trunk, behind the carpeted paneling on the left side. There was a flap that opens to allow access to the changer, but the plug was actually located below that and I wasn't able to find it until I pulled the whole panel away from the side of the car.

Gordy....found it right where you said. Just waiting for the blitzsafe wire to show up and hopefully the rest of the set up won't be too tedious (hiding wires is a pet peeve!)
