Question:
I have recently decided that I will switch from manually managing my music library to having it auto-sync. In an effort to do this I have deleted all the music files from my iTunes library on my computer (by "selecting all" and then "moving to recycle bin")as my iPod had the most up to date store of music. I have now copied all the music from my iPod back into my iTunes music folder-- d:\My Music and am now wondering two things:
1. Is it possible to transfer my metadata, particularly "last played" and "date added" from the iPod into iTunes? Otherwise all "date added" will be the day I reimported it into iTunes, not the day it was added originaly.
2. Is it possible to copy over smart playlists from the iPod back to the iTunes library?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
