Hey guys. I'm one of those fools that thought they could make due without a case and ended up regretting it by having their IPod (20GB 4g) get messed up cosemetically and mechanically. My IPod wasn't working for a while and kept showing the sad IPod face. After doing attempting to do the 5Rs and the Diagnostic stuff, my Ipod was doomed. As a last resort, I took the advice of some dude from the Ipod forums and wacked the crap outta the right side of my Ipod...and it miraculously worked again.
Yes, that is the background of my IPod and I want to make sure it never becomes disfunctional again. But then again I'm not sure if it's possible for it to re-break from a bump or break again over time(?). So I'm going to buy a case and I'm stuck with choosing among these three cases:
1. Contour Design Showcase 4G ($23)
2. Speck Flipstand 4G ($16)
3. Contour Tough Shell ($22)
I'd really like to save money and go with the Speck but I don't want to sacrifice protection. Any suggestions? If you have had any two of them, it would be great if you could give your recommendation between those particular two. Thanks again!
