Just got my E2c and I love them. I've been using the Sony MDR-E888lp and found them to be excellent - they are a bit uncomfortable in the ear. If you angle them slightly back when inserting, they fit better and sound great.

Having read all the posts to this forum regarding the foamies vs the flex silicone sleeves for the E2c, I was sure that I would end up using the foamies. However, I actually prefer the Flex Silicone sleeves - I took some advice from this forum and wet the end before inserting into the ear and I get a great painfree seal everytime. I just wore them for about 4 hours traveling across country without any pain - the sound quality is great, especially for my music tastes.

I did try the foamies and yes they are comfortable, but I felt like I got a better seal with the flex and I won't need to change them as often as you will with the foamies.

Just my two cents..............

Interesting information. Thanks, I am planning on getting the E2c's myself as well.

I may go back to the silicones, but I recall they were too large for me. I cannot wear the foamies...they hurt my ears!

My e2's are sitting unused at the moment. I'll have to try the "wet-willy" trick! :)

Hopefully Shure will make triple flanged sleeves available for the E2's--I think this would be the ideal compromise--I have them on my Ety 4ps I just purchased; I'm holding on to my Shure's in hopes that they'll come out with triple flanges (I love the Ety's--they're better than the E2's--they should be, for the price--but the E2's are a darned good earphone, and I'm hanging on to them--might consider using them exclusively in the gym, as they are a bit more durable appearing than the Ety's).

Perhaps we Shure E2 owners should lobby Shure, through our new friend 'sugarfried', to introduce triple flange sleeves?
In fact, to gauge the level of interest here's a poll (http://ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15691)

I use the silicone fit as well currently on my E2c's and feel they are more comfortable than the foam. Took a few days of listening and messing around to get the perfect location etc in my ear. Now I can wear them for hours with no issues at all. I will sit and wait patiently for the triple flanges tho
