What happened to the Griffin Technology's ifm? I ordered mine two months ago, and they said back then shipping October. Now, the website says "shipping soon?" Maybe they won't ship at all if the new pods have built in fm tuners. Ya think?

Griffin makes some great stuff but never pre-order from them. Just wait until you know its shipping.
As far as if they'll actually produce, I hope so. I wanted one for this past baseball season... :(

Anyone have any experience with the iFM on the 2nd Gens?
Good quality?
I am quite interested in this too.

Nowhere in the UK actually has them yet, even for the Gen 1/2

They're not out anywhere- Griffin still has 'pre-order' up on their site. Its been there for quite a while.
My guess is that iTrip demand has put the iFM on the back burner.

The site now has "Buy Now" I dont know if that is the same thing or not

You are referring to the iTrip (Buy Now), not the iFM, The iTrip is an FM transmitter, the iFM is a radio receiver to attach to your iPod. The iFM should have shipped as promised a long time ago. I cancelled my order. Griffin needs to get their act together ........... although I must say that I am mostly satisfied with the long awaited iTrip (that I ordered in late April and received on October 9th).
