can the screen be saved?

my screen was scratched as a result of putting disconnected earphones and my ipod in the same pocket. can it be repaired? any idea how much? any advice on what can be done? can the cover be replaced?

You can use a cleaner, preferably Ice Creme from Radtech (http://radtech.us).
