i thought i could go without having my ipod in my car but its obviously not possible. so i need to to know what is the best cable to hook up to your car from the headphone jack, if there's one available.

if the headphone jack cable isnt possible then what is the best cable to use through the usb connection, WITHOUT USING AN FM STATION. i would like to avoid the fm jibba jabba if at all possible.

thanks in advance

1. Best option.
Use AUX input on car radio to wire your ipod. Often can be controled within radio. Not cheap. You should use the 30pin port in order to have a real line out clear signal. I think only a small amount of stock radios have the AUX input.

Look for ipod kits at your local car accessories/electronic store.

2. Cassette adapter. Lots of various quality in this. My cheapo one give me wonderful results, and I returned 2 smartdecks from griffin.

AUX input isn't always THAT much. Cost me $50, some cars its considerably less..
