Chiped Scroll Wheel

:mad: I just received my 30 GB Ipod last night. Got to use it only one time before it developed a slight chip under the scroll wheel plastic. It does not effect the use of the scroll wheel other than I am really annoyed that my iPod was hardly used before it developed the deffect. Has anyone esle had this problem? I am almost tempted to return it to MacConnection.com for a replacement. Any suggestions will be greatly apperciated.

Definetely return it! That shouldn't happen after one use. If you are still on the fence about returning it, call MacConnection and see what they say. They might replace it one-for-one with a brand new unit. Good luck!

ouch, thats brutal, my friend, the first day he got his ipod,his brother stole it, dropped it and scratched the scroll wheel
