This case and accessory set looked great, as I even had the chance to check it out in person at the Apple store before purchasing one through Amazon. But it was a mistake.
The poor design could almost be forgiven. The fact that the armband could never be adjusted small enough for my small arm. The fact that the case itself is simply too small for the iPod, ensuring that the screen is always partially obstructed if the velcro flap is closed, while the sync-connector cover is never properly closed. Yes, this is merely lousy design.
What I can't forgive is that the case has now damaged my pod. My pristine white 4G now has an entire face worth of parallel scratches on the front, from top to bottom, including across the screen. I purchased a case to protect my investment, and instead had it damaged.
The minimum a case needs to do is protect the electronics it encloses. Thanks for less than nothing, Marware.
I would encourage others to avoid this case, and others by this manufacturer.
